Can we elevate the divisive discourse about Israel in our communities to a productive communal debate? Does being diaspora Jews impact our view of the situation? What values color how we view the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and how it should be addressed? What does peace actually mean in Jewish tradition? 

This series will transform a conversation that is often about advocacy to one about values. We will probe questions of prioritization, different visions of what peace can mean and how the Israel-Diaspora relationship influences the conversation. 

The second talk will be given at Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun by Yossi Klein Halevi, Senior Research Fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute of Jerusalem.
