When paying with a credit card, please consider donating an additional 3% to cover credit card fees.

Membership Categories & Dues Rates - revised May 2016

Members play a critical role in sustaining and growing our community. We rely on dues to help meet our annual financial obligations. Your dues pay for salaries, rental fees, meals, and programming for adults and children.

Shaare Zedek uses a “fair share” dues system for membership based on household income. You will not be asked to disclose your income or submit any financial documents, but only to accept those dues that are applicable to you. We ask you to pledge as honestly and as accurately as possible. We are committed to ensuring that no one is excluded due to financial hardship. Please pay an amount that is personally significant to you, even if it does not follow the dues schedule shown below. Dues may be paid in installments. All dues information will be kept in strictest confidence.

Please click here to learn about our plans for the 5785 High Holidays. Due to expected demand, High Holiday seats will only be available to SZ members and their out-of-town family members.

We are asking people who have the means to do so based on the chart above to contribute a minimum of $500 per person or $1000 for a family/household for high holiday tickets. We would like to reiterate that no one will be turned away due to an inability to pay.
